Caroline Mickler has announced a new multi-region license to luxury leather goods label Strathberry for a range of high end bags.
The capsule collection will feature shoulder bags, clutch bags, pouches, luggage tags and coin purses. Launching in August 2018, the collection will be available, via Strathberry’s wholesale partners, at luxury department stores in the UK, Ireland, the USA, Australia, Asia and globally online. The main customers for the range are expected to be the Strathberry core market of women aged from 18 up.
Strathberry’s products are hand-crafted in Spain by artisans using high-quality materials and include Strathberry’s signature bar closure.
Both adult and pre-school markets have been successful licensing areas for the Moomin brand in recent months. As well as Strathberry’s collection, apparel, publishing and plush are among recent additions to the brand’s licensed output, which also includes personalised stationery, a mindfulness colouring book, homeware, greeting cards, coasters, enamel mugs, bags, fashion accessories, nightwear, t-shirts and cashmere jumpers. All these products – with more to come in 2018 – are part of the continuing success of a UK Moomin licensing campaign targeting a wide variety of price points and retail outlets.
