HBO develops new Game of Thrones merch with live event firm ReedPOP

Pop culture event producer, ReedPOP and HBO have joined forces to develop a new assortment of Game of Thrones merchandise.

The range will be available exclusively at ReedPOP events, debuting at Emerald City Comic Con this March.

The collection will include Game of Thrones themed apparel, bags, barware, pins, keychains and more. Additional product offerings will launch throughout this year’s ReedPOP events around the world including New York Comic Con.

“Comic Con attendees are some of the most passionate fans in the world, and we are excited to join forces with ReedPOP to offer them unique, exclusive Game of Thrones products,” said Jeff Peters, vice president, licensing and retail, HBO.

“We will be kicking the partnership off with an impressive lineup of items at ECCC, but this is just the beginning. Fans can expect to see more awesome items at ReedPOP events around the globe.”

Lance Fensterman, senior vice president of ReedPOP, added: “Game of Thrones is a global phenomenon that our fans can never get enough of. Both the programming and talent have historically been a huge hit with fans at our shows, so creating this crossover to provide an exclusive collection of merchandise was a no-brainer.”
