Beano Studios has secured a raft of new licensing deals as it readies for its 80 birthday later this year.
The new landmark deals act to further solidify the brand’s influence on popular culture and its growing presence in the art and fashion markets.
Leading the recent brace of partnerships is The Westminster Mint who is producing a range of collectable Ingots and medals, featuring the character artwork from beano annual covers. The range is to be released in celebration of the Beano’s birthday and will be available to purchase from July 2018 onwards.
Meanwhile, online Truffle Shuffle will produce two limited edition t-shirts, using original illustrations designed by Beano artist David Sutherland in 1970. The products will be sold on the Truffle Shuffle website as an exclusive design range which is now available to purchase.
Elsewhere, creators of stylish art pieces, Art and Hue has developed limited edition pop-art style Beano and Bananaman ranges of unframed art prints. The compilation pieces will be available to buy online and directly by the licensee.
Completing the line up is Koch Media who has developed seasonal boxed gifting sets for the beloved brand, consisting of mugs, tankards and golf gift sets. The gift sets use original artwork and will be available throughout the year for special occasions across high street retailer from Autumn 2018.
