One Animation partners with SEGA’s goGame to develop new ‘endless runnner

One Animation has partnered with the mobile game publisher and subsidiary of Sega, goGame to launch an endless runner based on the Oddbods series.

The humorous Oddbods characters are proving to be a YouTube sensation, with views to date totalling 3.5bn with 13 m views being generated a day.

Capitalising on this success, the endless runner game combines freemium game play with themes that showcase the antics of the seven Oddbod charatcers.

Will Ocha, international licensing director, One Animation, said: “ We are delighted to have such a world-renowned developer on board to take Oddbods onto the global mobile stage.

“We are following a robust strategy to delight fans with new mobile and digital brand activatins.”
