Goosebumps creeps into mobile gaming with Pixowl’s HorrorTown title

The tween horror of Goosebumps has met the world of mobile gaming with the launch of Pixowl’s Goosebumps Horror Town for iOS and Android.

Based on R L Stine’s Goosebumps horror book series and licensed by Scholastic, the game takes players to HorrorTown to build and manage a quiet town in which all is not as it seems.

Players will interact with both the human and monster sides as they collect iconic monsters, scare townfolk and unlock human characters.

“For anyone who’s enjoyed the Goosebumps books, TV series and films, Goosebumps: HorrorTown is a character-focused adventure set in R L Stine’s scary but fun world, where you collect your favourite monsters, frighten humans and undertake spooky missions,” said Arthur Madrid, CEO and co-founder of Pixowl.

Pixowl has seen success in the mobile gaming app arena to the tune of numerous awards and more than 40 million downloads of its flagship gaming app The Sandbox.

Its new Goosebumps HorrorTown title will continue to be expanded and supported with new adventures and content after its launch.
