Japan’s Moomin Valley Park opening date confirmed

The grand opening date of a brand new Moomin Valley Park visitor attraction in Japan has finally been confirmed.

The new theme park will take up residence in Hanno, Saitama in Japan and will officially open its doors to visitors on March 16th 2019.

The Moomin Valley Park will aim to bring the charm of the original stories and artwork to life, allowing Moomins fans to engage with and discover more about the brand. It will also boast one of the largest selections of Moomins related merchandise within its Moomins gift shop featuring exclusive products.

Moomin Valley Park will feature the Moominhouse, several attractions based on the original books, liv shows and greeting events with the characters, replicas of the bathing house and the lighthouse and a three storey exhibition facility where fans can learn more about the life and thoughts of Moomin creator, Tove Jansson.
