Teletubbies head to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland for first live Christmas show

DHX Brands is teaming up with Fierylight, IMG and Zippos Circus to bring the first live Teletubbies Christmas Show to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland this year.

Teletubbyland will be brought to life off-screen in a special production running daily from 11am in the MegaDome, commencing on November 23rd 2018 until January 6th 2019.

IMG’s annual Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is the UK’s largest Christmas event that sees London’s Hyde Park transformed into a seasonal theme park.

A 45 minute long, interactive Teletubbies Christmas Show will take place in the Zippos Circus MegaDome.

“Live events continue to be a particularly strong draw for fans of the Teletubbies, and between the live-show tour in the UK and the popular mini-shows at Butlins resorts, we have seen fantastic engagement,” said Tom Roe, commercial director at DHX Brands.

“We’re excited to be rounding off the year with our first ever live Christmas show at one of London’s premier holiday events, and for the Teletubbies to share in the magic of the holidays with children and families.”

Stephen Flint Wood, SVP and managing director of Arts and Entertainment Events, IMG, added: “We are delighted to be hosting the Teletubbies for the first time in a new live show. This is just one of many exciting new attractions coming to London’s ultimate Christmas experience, Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.

“Watching Teletubbyland cme to life will be a dream come true for little ones and we encourage families to book in advance due to the anticipated popularity.”
