At 30 years since the launch of the pre-school title Thomas & Friends magazine, the children’s title continues to sell one copy every minute in the UK market.
It’s just part of the reason that this month, Egmont Publishing, the home of the popular magazine is celebrating the 30th birthday of the perennial pre-school favourite with its licensing partner Mattel.
According to the latest ABC results, Thomas & Friends magazine is still delivering sales growth three decades after it first launched to UK kids, parents and families.
Thomas & Friends magazine, as a result, is the oldest single character magazine in the UK market while its performance has been billed as ‘testament to the strength of the Thomas & Friends brand,’ as well as the ‘successful publishing partnership between Egmont and Mattel.’
