Fashion UK to develop new apparel line with confectionery specialist Swizzels

Blonde Sheep Licensing has secured a partnership with Fashion UK to develop apparel and footwear ranges with the confectionery specialist, Swizzels.

Following the success of the footwear which launched earlier this year, Fashion UK has added girls and women’s daywear, nightwear and accessories, all of which will launch this summer.

Products will feature Love Hearts, Drumsticks, Refreshers and other brands from Swizzels, the UK’s largest family-owned confectionery manufacturer.

Laura Kelly, licensing manager at Fashion UK, said: “The Swizzels sweet brands are so iconic, vibrant and key to our license strategy of working with stable brands. We are incredibly excited to be extending our product ranges on the brand and we are going to have a lot of fun designing our apparel and accessory ranges.”

Natasha Dyson, managing director at Blonde Sheep Licensing, added: “The addition of apparel really strengthens Fashion UK’s offering and allows retailers the opportunity to buy into a coordinated range.

“Fashion UK has grown significantly over the last year and its presence in the market, along with its experience of working with Swizzels, makes them the perfect choice for apparel.”

Blonde Sheep Licensing continues to investigate further opportunities for Swizzels in home, food and social greetings.
