Planeta Junior has strengthened its position in France with the formation of a cluster that groups its French, Portuguese and Spanish operations together.
The move has been designed to help develop new transversal strategies as Planeta Junior looks to build business across the regions of Europe.
This development is particularly relevant for Planta Junior as it readies to launch universal properties such as Pucca, Gormiti, Squish and Snackworld later this year, and the Spanish structure will support the cluster to reinforce regional content, licensing, marketing and retail strategies.
As a result, the cluster will also benefit from a dedicated sales and marketing team.
Antonella Ceraso will manage the new cluster, in line with the success she has driven for the firm’s Spanish and Portuguese markets. Ceraso will continue to be responsible for these markets.
Olivier Salomon will continue his position as country manager at the French delegation, and the cluster will report directly to Diego Ibanez, international commercial director at Planeta Junior.
It’s all part of Planeta Junior’s commitment to France, where it has created recent alliances with companies such as ZAG Animation, Method Animation and Cottonwood Media.
