Animaccord is launching a live and interactive AR event in London next month as it continues to grow the UK brand awareness for its flagship title, Masha and the Bear.
The Masha and the Bear 3D event will be held at London’s Waterloo Station on May 4th and 5th, inviting families and children to interact with the cast of the popular pre-school series. The initiative lands as Animaccord celebrates a successful ten years of its Masha and the Bear brand.
Over the past decade, the animated series has become a global hit among children and families with popularity still rising here in the UK market.
Masha and the Bear has exploded on the global stage, thanks in large to YouTube, where the episode Recipe for Disaster reached an impressive 3.5 billion views to become the most watched cartoon on the platform.
The series debuted here in the UK in 2017, where it premiered on Tiny Pop TV. Over the course of 2018, and thanks to numerous activations, including a recent partnership with The Entertainer, the brand has grown its UK awareness by 22 per cent.
The Waterloo AR event will mark just one in a number of planned UK activities for the Masha and the Bear brand. Over Easter the brand ran a joint spring retail campaign with The Entertainer in which 150 of The Entertainer shops were set up with branded Masha and the Bear display stands and security gates. The campaign was supported with interactive meet and greet events.
Animaccord is now preparing for the release of its fourth season of Masha’s Songs. Each episode is dedicated to the cultural values and most popular song of a particular country, including an episode about the UK.
Animaccord has outlined its plans to release new content regularly until at least 2025.
