The Hunger Games: The Exhibition awarded Guinness World Record

A interactive exhibition taking visitors into the world of The Hunger Games has just been awarded a Guinness World Record title for the largest interactive touchscreen, proving not only that records can be set for virtually anything, but the impact experiential licensing is now having on the mainstream.

The attraction is housed inside the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas and boasts 60 feet of screen for visitors to interact with and touch. It is utilised for an archery training experience, designed to provide guests with all the skills to ‘join the rebellion.’

The recently opened attraction is based on the popular film franchise from Lionsgate; a trilogy that grossed over $3bn at the worldwide box office.

Hunger Games: The Exhibition celebrates the journey of Katniss Everdeen from her beginnings in District 12 to her rise as the Mockingjay. The experience features several inspirational galleries including the Hall of Justice, President Snow’s Office, the Tribute Train and District 13, along with an exploration of the world of Panem, highlighting costumes, props, and set recreations from the films.

 “We strive to create unique, one-of-a-kind attractions, and the 60-foot wide interactive touchscreen offers patrons an unparalleled experience as they dive deep into the world of Panem,” said Welby Altidor, group chief creative officer of Cityneon Holdings and Victory Hill Exhibitions, the exhibition’s creators. 

“Our immersive attractions are designed with the latest technology to create hands-on interaction, and receiving a Guinness World Record title validates the quality, precision and creativity we put into every project.”

 This is the second family-friendly, film-themed attraction in Las Vegas opened by the international entertainment and exhibition company, Cityneon Holdings Limited, and its subsidiary Victory Hill Exhibitions.
