CBS Consumer Products details major presence for Star Trek at San Diego Comic Con 2019

CBS Consumer Products is hitting San Diego Comic Con 2019 complete with an entourage of licensees, as the firm prepares to showcase a raft of new and exclusive products at the four-day show in California this month.

Among the properties and products on display, will be new lines from Star Trek, Charmed, Carpool Karaoke, and more. New and exclusive products to the show will be placed with exhibiting licensees across the show floor.

Chronicle Collectibles will be unveiling the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D ship replica, seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation, while Cinequest will be presenting a slate of exclusives inspired by the original Charmed series, including the Charmed: Box of Shadows Halliwell Manor Miniature Boxed set.

Diamond Select Toys, meanwhile, is featuring the Star Trek Starship Legends Gold Enterprise NCC-1701-C, limited to 250 copies, while at the Eaglemoss Hero Collector booth, fans will find several ships from The Official Starships and Discovery collections.

For a moment of Star Trek respite, Entertainment Earth is offering exclusive Happy Days The Fonz Tin Totes, like the one used by Carol Danvers in Marvel’s Captain Marvel.

Among the 20 San Diego Comic Con exclusive products on the Factory Entertainment booth, and its back to Star Trek again, with the Star Trek Gold Variant Discovery Phaser KUZO, while Hallmark is offering an exclusive I.S.S. Enterprise Keepsake Ornament.

There’s still plenty more to go. Hero Within will be offering Star Trek t-shirts, Icon Heroes will have an exclusive Emperor Georgiou Terran Empire Dagger Letter Opener for any fan who can’t even open an envelope without the need for sci-fi immersion.

IDW Publishing is exclusively offering 500 copies of Star Trek Year Five #1 with a Greg Hildebrandt Negative Virgin Variant cover for $10 each, a Star Trek Year 5promotional poster by artist Greg Hildebrandt for free, 250 copies of Star Trek vs. Transformers and Derek Charm variant cover for $20 each.

On top of that, on Thursday, July 18 at 11am, IDW Publishing is hosting a panel titled Star Trek Year FiveWriter’s Room, with Star Trek comic writers Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly, Brandon Easton, Jody Houser, and Jim McCann in room 28DE.

It is also hosting an in-booth signing by Star Trek: Year Five writers Brandon Easton, Jim McCann, Jody Houser, Jackson Lanzing, Collin Kelly and cover artist J.J. Lendl in booth #2729, before ending its run of session on Friday, July 19 with an in-booth signing by J.K> Woodward, Mike Johnson and Scott Tipton.

And yet the Star Trek activity keeps on coming, not least with Insights Editions who is featuring the Star Trek Incredibuild Starship Enterprise for purchase at the booth with a 20 per cent discount available exclusively to attendees.

QMx will be featuring a large selection of Star Trek products including the Captain Picard 1:6 figure, The Original Series Captain’s Chair, Discovery badges, Mirror Universe badges and the Klingon Emblem badge.

ReedPOP is hosting a pop-up shop at the Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty exhibit featuring exclusive Star Trek: Picard merchandise. The exhibit will present original props, costumes, and other artefacts tracing Picard’s life and Starfleet career.

Rubies will introduce the Star Trek: Discovery Saru character mask for $45. It will also be featuring a large selection of Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek Beyond, Star Trek: The Original Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation costumes.

Running Press is spotlighting an array of Star Trek products at their booth including the Light-Up Starship Enterprise, Communicator, Light-Up Shuttle Craft, Light and Sound Tricorder and Light and Sound Borg Cube.

 On Saturday, July 20, Mike McMahan will be signing copies of his book, Star Trek: The Next Generation – Warped at booth #1128.

Simon & Schuster will also be hosting a Twitter flash giveaway of Star Trek: Discovery: The Enterprise War along with Star Trek swag on July 19 at 9:30am.

After all that, you’ll probably be in need of a change of scenery, and the chance to let your hair down. It’s just as well that the family fun product, Carpool Karaoke The Micwill be showcased inside two Range Rovers in the Interactive Zone at Petco Park on July 18 to 21 from 10-6pm.

The product will be available for demos and photo opportunities and the first 500 costumers to purchase The Mic will receive an exclusive Pop Socket.

Comic Con couldn’t let you go without one last visit to the Star Trek universe… yes, seriously. ThinkGeek will be offering an exclusive Star Trek Finale Commemoration three-Pin Set recognising The Original Series’50th, The Next Generation’s 25th, and Deep Space Nine’s 20th finale anniversaries for $25.

The firm will also be exclusively offering a Mego Spock Multi-Pack 8″ Action Figure for $40.
