20th Century Fox Consumer Products launches Halloween Horror Nights

20th Century Fox Consumer Products is teaming up with Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood to put ‘Halloween Horror Nights’ guests into the middle of an all-new maze inspired by sci-fi franchise AVP: Aliens vs Predator.

At Universal Orlando, guests will find themselves thrust into the middle of the primordial battle between the Aliens and Predators as they visit one of Weyland-Yutani’s secret facilities to assist with a situation that has surfaced.

Meanwhile, the new maze at Universal Studios Hollywood will uncover a dangerous alien spaceship carrying a race of hunter aliens known as Predators and a threatening new alien lifeform that uses human hosts to propagate its species.

"The introduction of AVP into the immensely popular Halloween Horror Nights is further proof of the indelible mark this incredibly powerful franchise has left on fans and the horror genre itself," said Greg Lombardo, VP of global live and location-based entertainment at 20th Century Fox Consumer Products.

"Bringing AVP to life in a new maze is a perfect way to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the film, as well as mark the 35th anniversary of Alien, the film that started it all, and etched in our collective psyche the meaning of modern terror."

John Murdy, creative director for Universal Studios Hollywood and executive of Halloween Horror Nights, added: "AVP: Alien vs Predator is by far the most technically complicated and ambitious maze we’ve ever created for Halloween Horror Nights. "It’s a monumental undertaking to recreate these massive, iconic characters for a live event."
