20th Century Fox opens first The Simpsons store in Beijing

20th Century Fox has launched the world’s first dedicated The Simpsons store in Beijing’s Taikooli Sanlitun.

Featuring over 125 specially curated items, the new store offers exclusive apparel, bags, head gear and accessories within a retail environment designed to capture the humour and style of the hit animated series.

The launch of the new store follows what 20th Century Fox Consumer Products has billed as ‘rapid growing enthusiasm’ for The Simpsons brand across the Asia Pacific region.

Customer immersion in The Simpsons brand begins as soon as they step into the store through an iconic Bart Simpson silhouette, read a statement from the firm.

An art installation depicting the Springfield family is featured in the centre of the store while each section of the store is designed to ‘emphasise a specialty merchandise range that articulates emerging trends and cool elements.’

Jeffrey Godsick, president of 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, said: “We are delighted with the rapidly growing enthusiasm for The Simpsons brand across the Asia Pacific region.

“No matter the customer, a family, a high end shopper of a fashionista, The Simpsons store in Beijing offers that unique consumer engagement with one of the world’s most celebrated properties.
