343 Industries taps Wicked Cool Toys as global toy partner for Halo Infinite

Wicked Cool Toys has been named the global toy partner for the next chapter of the popular Halo video gaming franchise, as its developers 343 Industries prepares to launch Halo Infinite.

The new game will debut Christmas 2020, and is already being tipped for success both in the digital and physical realm, with Wicked Cool Toys heading up the development of a line of toys and collectables that will ‘deliver and offline extension of the Halo universe.’

The toy maker has secured the rights to create several categories of toys, including action figures, vehicles, play-sets, plush, role play and more.

Halo Infinite is being created by 343 Industries for the entire Xbox family of devices and Windows PCs, and will be optimised for the new console Project Scarlett set to debut Christmas 2020. This will mark an opportunity for the new Halo Wicked Cool Toys line to further enhance the fan experience.

Jeremy Padawer, co-president of Wicked Cool Toys, said: “Halo Infinite is not only one of the most hotly anticipated upcoming game launches, but also truly an innovation within the gaming space, making it an incredible property to build a line of collectibles, toys, and more around.”

Halo Infinite sees the return of The Master Chief. It will continue from the Halo 5: Guardians storyline and take the franchise in new directions.
