The trailer for next year’s 50 Shades of Grey film has become the most viewed trailer of 2014 so far.
The first trailer for the big screen adaptation of EL James’ best-selling novel has achieved 36.4 million YouTube views since debuting on July 24th, according to tech tracking firm Zefr.
The Hollywood Reporter states that 50 Shades of Grey passes the previous best of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ 31 million views.
Behind that is Godzilla and Transformers: Age of Extinction, which both managed 26.3 million views in their first weeks, followed by the trailer for Dumb and Dumber Too which garnered 23.5 million views.
