Aardman counts new licensees for Shaun the Sheep

As the fourth series of Shaun the Sheep airs on TV channels across the globe, Aardman has signed a roster of new licensees for its popular children’s property.

Rainbow Designs has extended is current partnership with the firm as the master toy licensee, which includes a new range of Shaun the Sheep Movie toys scheduled to hit shelves next spring/summer.

The Bristol-based animation studio has also secured Pan-European deals with Giromax for trading cards and collectables, as Legler signs to produce a range of wooden toys and games.

Furthermore, Walker Books is now on board as publishing partners for a new collection of Shaun the Sheep The Movie titles, including activity books and a junior novelisation.

“We are very happy to have such great partners in these important categories,” said Aardman’s head of licensing, Rob Goodchild.

“We will be working hard with them to ensure we bring fun, innovative products to market, creating ranges that befit such a marvelous brand.”
