Acamar Films is targeting parents of pre-schoolers with a new social media campaign in collaboration with comedy duo, Scummy Mummies.
Ellie Gibson and Helen Thorn of the Scummy Mummies will post funny photos of their own parental challenges using the #WhatWouldFlopDo, encouraging other parents to do the same.
From these posts, the Scummy Mummies will select their favourite, with the winner securing a visit from Bing and Flop to their child’s nursery or pre-school.
“We are thrilled about this collaboration with the Scummy Mummies,” said Lee Harris, head of marketing at Acamar Films.
“We can’t wait to work with them to celebrate the humour in the moments that can otherwise feel exhausting or overwhelming, and we look forward to engaging our target audience in a completely new and innovative way.”
The campaign made its debut on August 1st across the duo’s digital channels, including Instagram and Twitter, and coincides with the toy launch from Fisher-Price.
Toilet Train Bing will roll out at selected retailers throughout the summer, which encourages fans to help Bing make it to the toilet in time when he lets them know ‘it’s time to go’.
Gibson added: "My kids love a bit of Bing, and the show’s honesty about the reality of family life fits well with our kind of humour."
