Amazon readies new pre-school series based on I Stink! books

The Stinky & Dirty Show, based on the pre-school I Stink! books, will debut on Amazon Prime Video next month.

The new series will be available on Prime Video in the US and UK from September 2nd, before heading to Germany, Austria and Japan later this year.

Following the adventures of Stinky the garbage truck and Dirty the backhoe loader, the series comes from Brown Bag Films, the same animation team behind Doc McStuffins and Octonauts.

“The popular books have laid the groundwork for a beautifully inspiring television series for pre-schoolers that instills one of the most important life skills – resourcefulness,” Tara Sorensen, head of kids programming at Amazon Studios.

“We are thrilled to bring to our customers, who embraced the pilot, a full season of The Stinky & Dirty Show."
