Andrew Carley steps down from global licensing role at eOne

After 12 years with the company, Andrew Carley has stepped away from Entertainment One and his role as EVP of global licensing.

First reported in the toy trade, and now confirmed by Licensing.biz, the longstanding licensing executive has decided to look for his next challenge in the licensing field, taking his over a decade of experience into a new chapter of his career.

Over the course of his time with eOne, Carley has been instrumental in building the firm’s UK presence, from “just three people in the UK,” to six offices across the globe that employs hundreds of people.

He has also helped to build the Peppa Pig brand – eOne’s flagship property – into what it is today, having started at around “a dozen UK licensees to a truly global property with over 3000 licensees across the world.”

“It has been a privilege to work at eOne, with the freedom to build the operation into the global powerhouse it is today,” he said in an interview with ToyWorld.
