Animaccord has acquired the exclusive media rights to 39 episodes of the US produced animated property, Smighties, with a view to replicate the ‘Guinness World Record-setting success it found with Masha and the Bear.
The firm will distribute the series across traditional and new and emerging media platforms, including YouTube, where it saw unrivalled success for the Masha and the Bear series. Animaccord will distribute the series across Russia, CIS, Eastern Europe and Turkey.
The Smighties series is the USA produced children’s animated comedy for kids aged four to seven that features the adventures of the small and mighty heroes from a magical land, that’s part fun, part heroic, and “all zany”.
The cartoon is family-friendly entertainment that appeals to boys and girls with positive messaging: Small+Mighty=Smighty, empowering kids to believe that though they are small, they can still dream BIG.
