Classic French comic brand Asterix has partnered with Real supermarkets in Germany for a collectable marble campaign.
The loyalty programme – which is running from December 31st, 2012, to February 16th, 2013 – gives consumers a free Asterix marble for every €15 purchase they make in Real stores. There are 24 marbles to collect in total.
Prizes up for grabs include a Volkswagen car, flat-screen TV and hotel breaks.
The initiative also has a strong marketing campaign including a TV spot and Facebook app, which allows fans to design their own marbles.
Meanwhile, Asterix brand owner Les Editions Albert René has appointed a new licensing agent for Indie – Bradford Licensing India.
