Former WWE champion will represent the company's new range of US Army licensed clothing.

Authentic Apparel signs Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for US Army licensed apparel

WWE Champion, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has partnered with Authentic Apparel Group to launch a new line of army style apparel, licensed by the US Army.

The latest deal for the clothing company – brokered by the US Army’s licensing agency, Beanstalk – will see a collection of jackets, pants sweaters and shirts each ’embodying the should of classic military apparel’ being met with ‘modern fashion and cutting edge performance.’

The partnership between the former wrestling champion and the apparel company arrives through his dedication to personal achievement and an active lifestyle, along with his support of the ‘every day hero’, characteristics he believes to be mirrored by the company.

"Authentic Apparel Group is about legacy, performance and innovation. I am proud to represent a company that supports and honours the everyday heroes that inspire me," explained Johnson.

Ronnie Reuben, chairman and founder of Authentic Apparel, added: "Authentic Apparel is honoured and privileged to be licensed by the United States army and to bring to consumers a truly military inspired line.

"Utilising historic archives spanning 238 years, our team of designers has created a collection that not only stays true to Army style but Army standards and quality as well."
