Author Debbie Macomber appoints Seltzer Licensing Group to grow new lifestyle brand

Book author Debbie Macomber has appointed Seltzer Licensing Group to manage and grow her brand extension licensing programme.

The licensing programme will further spread the messaging of the New York Times bestelling author’s titles, targeting lifestyle categories including stationery and gifts, home furnishings, apparel, accessories, gardening and crafts.

“Debbie Macomber is more than a bestselling author – through various channels beyond print, Debbie has effectively positioned herself as a lifestyle brand,” said Stu Seltzer, president, Seltzer Licensing Group.

“We are thrilled to be appointed as her exclusive licensing agent and look forward to developing an exciting array of lifestyle consumer products for her passionate fan base.”

Macomber’s bestselling Cedar Cove Series became Hallmark Channel’s first dramatic scripted television series, ranking as the top programme on cable when it debuted in summer 2013.

“Debbie Macomber has touched the lives of millions of women all over the world through the power of her stories and the sharing of her life, her heart and her passions,” said Adele LaCombe, CEO of Debbie Macomber Inc.

“We are so excited to work with Seltzer Licensing Group on extending Debbie’s brand into lifestyle products that will make people’s lives a little easier and their smiles a little brighter.”
