Avengers: Age of Ultron has become the UK’s biggest release of 2015 so far.
Screen reports that Disney’s sequel topped the UK box office for the third week on the spin, making £3.5m to bring its total UK gross to date to £40.33m.
This means Ultron overtakes Universal’s Fast & Furious 7 as the year’s biggest film.
Marvel’s Avengers Assemble ended its UK run with a total gross of £51.9m.
Elsewhere, Cinderella became Disney’s third film to cross the £20m mark out of the studio’s four 2015 releases thus far.
