Aykroyd & Sons raises over £6,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity

Aykroyd & Sons has raised over £6,000 for the Brain Tumour Charity, in memory of Pauline Lonsdale.

A Memorial Evening was held at the Village hotel, Cheadle, last Friday to remember Lonsdale, who was Aykroyd and Sons’ design director for over 30 years and who sadly passed away on December 24th 2011, aged 53.

Together with the Aykroyds Tough Mudder team, over £6,000 was raised for the Brain Tumour Charity that the company has supported since Pauline’s death.

"A massive thanks to everyone who kindly donated auction and raffle prizes and to those who just generously donated money," said David Aykroyd, Joint MD, Aykroyd & Sons.

"A big thanks to Louise Moore for doing all the arrangements and to Dilwyn Morgan who brilliantly compared the evening. Pauline will never be forgotten."
