New collections go on sale in Latin American retailer.

BabyTV launches first apparel and plush lines with La Polar

The BabyTV channel’s first dedicated collection of licensed apparel based on its characters and artwork has gone on sale in Latin American retailer, La Polar.

Available at La Polar’s flagship stores across Chile, the clothing range initially includes t-shirts, nightwear, bodysuits, bibs and hats, with more items to be added this year.

Complementing the apparel, the range of plush features some of BabyTV’s popular on-screen characters including the Butterfly.

The direct to retail deal with La Polar was negotiated by BabyTV’s agent P&L Global and Fox One Stop Media Licensing & Merchandising.

"We are delighted to be working with a major retailer like La Polar and see our first coordinated range of clothing and plush go on sale," said Ralf Kies, SVP licensing and content sales for BabyTV. "With more licensees already on board for Latin America, we look forward to launching more apparel lines across the region in 2014."
