Iconic pre-school character, Bagpuss is the latest to join the fundraising app T-Shirt Booth, helping raise money for Hospices of Hope.
The deal was secured by Oliver Postgate, the creator of Bagpuss and a supporter of the charity’s work for terminally ill patients in Romania and its surrounding countries.
"We are delighted to be working with Digital Giving to facilitate a range of bag puss t-shirts to be sold in aid of Hospices of Hope through T-Shirt Booth," said Fran Huxley, licensing consultant at Coolabi.
"With 2014 being Bagpuss’ 40th anniversary year we are sure his popularity will be at an all time high and are confident that we should be seeing some excellent sales of the t-shirts which will result in helping such a worthy cause”.
Anna Perolls, fundraising and communications manager, Hospices of Hope, added: “Hospices of Hope is very excited to be working with Digital Giving through the T-Shirt Booth.
"All money raised through T-shirt sales will go directly to the Bagpuss Children’s Wing at our hospice in Brasov. This currently supports over 300 terminally ill children and their families.”
