Charity mascot, Baxterbear has partnered with the T-Shirt Booth app to raise funds for the Gurkha Welfare Trust, an organisation supporting Gurkha veterans.
Baxterbear is a charity bear with the aim of raising money to make a difference to the Gurhka’s of the Second World War.
In support of this relationship, and with the help of Capture Stories, T-shirts featuring Baxterbear designs will now be available to purchase online at www.t-booth.net, with sales raising funds for the Gurkha Welfare Trust charity.
T-Shirt Booth allows fans to personalise a t-shirt via the smartphone of tablet app.
£2 from every purchase will be donated to the charity assigned to each property now featuring in the T-Shirt Booth portfolio.
Grant Morgan, co-founder of Digital Giving and T-Shirt Booth, said: “We are absolutely delighted to see Baxterbear joining a host of other favourite children’s characters in this digital fundraising product range.”
Suki Gallagher of Capture Stories, the marketing agency supporting Baxterbear, added: “We are very pleased that Baxterbear is adding its support to such a good cause.
“This charity provides financial, medical and development aid to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities. This is a fantastic cause and Baxterbear is proud to be involved.”
