BBC 6 Music’s Shaun Keaveny to host Licensing.biz People Awards 2016

BBC 6 Music presenter Shaun Keaveny will host next week’s Licensing.biz People Awards 2016.

Keaveny presents BBC 6 Music’s breakfast show, a mix of classic and cutting-edge new music, interviews and comedy.

Previous to his move to the BBC, Keaveny was heard in the mornings at indie music station XFM and with a fine line in self-deprecation, knowingly bad jokes and affable, down-to-earth charm, Keaveny has won a loyal following on air.

Away from the radio studio there has been various TV appearances and voice-overs for Channel 4 and Sky, and Shaun has performed stand up and danced as Beyonce? for Comic Relief. He has also published a book of obscure facts about the UK titled R2-D2 Lives in Preston.

“This year’s Licensing.biz People Awards is all set to be another great event for the UK licensing business, and we’re thrilled to have Shaun on board” said editor Billy Langsworthy.

“Tables are selling fast, our judges have selected this year’s winners and, most importantly, the menu has been finalised, so make sure you don’t miss out. The entire team is looking forward to seeing you all next week, and good luck to our finalists."

The event is taking place at South Kensington’s Millennium Gloucester hotel on Friday, March 11th. To buy a ticket, or a table, to the event, click here, and for sponsorship enquires, email sfreeman@nbmedia.com or bnormile@nbmedia.com.
