BBC Worldwide and SME London has revealed plans to stage a new outdoor countryside event, Countryfile Live.
The event will be held at Blenheim Palace from August 4th to 7th next year and will aim to bring the award-winning elements of its popular BBC counterpart to a live audience.
Countryfile is celebrated as Britain’s most watched factual programme with a regular audience over six million viewers. Now, working in partnership with the National trust and other rural organisations, Countryfile Live will display the best of Britain’s living countryside.
Visitors will be able to explore all aspects of the British countryside through a series of hand on activities, talks and unique interactive features.
“I can’t wait to see the programme brought to a live audience n such a spectacular setting and I know that the Countryfile team are equally excited,” said Bill Lyons, executive editor of Countryfile.
“With rural issues at the very heart of the event, it really feels very special; the event will be the very best that the British countryside has to offer.”
Exhibitor applications for Courntyfile Live are now being accepted via the website and more details about the event, including ticket prices and event features will be revealed in the coming months at countryfile.com.
