Beanstalk to represent baseball legend Yogi Berra

The Estate of Yogi Berra and Steiner Sports have signed an exclusive representation agreement with Beanstalk, for advertising and media campaigns, as well as long-term brand associations.

Yogi Berra played Major League Baseball for 19 seasons and managed teams such as the New York Yankees, New York Mets and Houston Astros. Berra was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972.

Famous for his witty one-liners and malapropisms, some of his famous quotes include “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over,” and “The future ain’t what it used to be.”

“Yogi Berra’s success as a baseball superstar embodied the American dream,” said Allison Ames, president and CEO of Beanstalk.

“He is a beloved national treasure and his witty phrases are so well known, they’ve become part of the vernacular.”

Ed Schauder, EVP of licensing and general counsel at Steiner Sports, the exclusive product licensing agent for the Berra estate, added: “Leveraging Beanstalk’s expertise in media and advertising complements our work and adds significant value to the Yogi Berra brand.”
