"Hayes’ imprint on pop culture, music, and fashion has been deep and enriched us all," said Martin Cribbs, VP, brand management of Beanstalk’s Icon Representation service.

Beanstalk to represent Isaac Hayes for long-term brand associations

The Isaac Hayes Estate has signed an exclusive representation agreement with Beanstalk.

Beanstalk will represent the personality rights for the American soul singer, songwriter, actor, producer and voice artist for use in advertising, media, and long-term brand associations.

“Isaac Hayes had a legendary and multi-faceted career as a singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and voice artist,” said Martin Cribbs, VP, brand management of Beanstalk’s Icon Representation service.

“From the smash hit, Soul Man, in the late 60s, to his complex and beautiful music for Shaft in the 70s, to his voice work as ‘Chef’ on Soul Park in the 2000s, Hayes’ imprint on pop culture, music, and fashion has been deep and enriched us all.”

The singer’s namesake son, Isaac Hayes III, added: “We were introduced to Beanstalk and the amazing work they do two years ago.

"With the addition of their Icon Representation business, they approached us about partnering to expand and develop opportunities for Isaac’s brand and we can dig it."
