Beast Quest lands its first live production with UK city tour kicking off in 2020

Coolabi Group has partnered with the theatre specialists, the Birmingham Stage Company for the world premiere of Beast Quest Live, the first live production of the hit book series.

Beast Quest Live will embark on a nationwide tour of the UK, launching in February 2020 and running until November 2021 as it visits UK cities Manchester, London, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool, Birmingham and Nottingham.

The live show will be based on the first six books of the best-selling fantasy series that follows the protagonist Tom as he battles against dark forces and beasts.

The group said: “The BSC is hugely excited to be entering the realm of Beast Quest which encompasses such a thrilling and exhilarating world for children to explore.

“We can’t wait to dive into a world that includes beasts, wizards and brave young people ready to fight for the survival of the kingdom.”

Michael Dee, director of content at Coolabi Group, added: “We are thrilled that we are finally able to announce this wonderful partnership with the BSC, a theatre company with such high pedigree and experience.

“The Beast Quest books have sold in their millions already in the UK and bringing the stories for their avid readers for the first time to the stage is really going to be something special. We can’t wait to see the magic unfold.”

Since launching in 2007, the Beast Quest book series has sold over 20 million copies globally, across 120 titles and has been translated into over 30 languages. It is published in the UK by Orchard Books.

The new live stage production follows a successful run of the Beast Quest interactive experience at hampton Court Palace, which took place in October 2018.
