Disney’s Big Hero 6 has made it to the number one spot at the UK box office for the second week in a row.
Screen reports that the film picked up £2.53m in its second weekend to bring its total gross so far in the UK to £7.46m.
This week, Big Hero 6 had competition for the attention of little ones in the form of StudioCanal’s Shaun the Sheep Movie. Aardman’s latest big screen adventure enjoyed a UK debut £2.1m, making it to third in the top ten.
Both films don’t have to worry about new arrivals in the children’s space this weekend (the next big kids’ movie comes in mid-March with Home), but Big Hero 6 looks likely to surrender the top spot to Valentine’s Day release Fifty Shades of Grey.
