Disney’s Big Hero 6 has overtaken Dreamworks’ How To Train Your Dragon 2 as 2014’s biggest animated movie worldwide.
The Oscar-winning title experienced a massive weekend, surpassing the $400 million milestone at the international box office.
Along with the $221 million earned domestically, the story of the lovable robot and his human friend has brought in more than $621 million globally, surpassing How To Train Your Dragon 2 and The LEGO Movie.
Big Hero 6 now sits as the third biggest Walt Disney Animation Studios release, behind Frozen and The Lion King.
The film hit theatres on November 7th, 2014, and has managed to top charts in only five months.
