Popular pre-school property Bing is expanding its European foothold with new broadcasters and licensing agents now on board.
The new agreements will see Bing grow its presence in Italy and Benelux this year.
A new broadcast deal with RAI in Italy has brought Bing to Italian TV screens for the first time. The free to air broadcaster acquired the rights for seasons one to three.
RAI Yoyo premiered Bing on February 18 this year and following its success, he series is now airing Monday to Sunday, eleven times a day.
Licensing agency, Maurizio Distefano has been appointed to oversee the development of Bing in Italy. <DL has a history of securing licensing agreements for entertainment properties including Masha and the Bear.
The first line of product is set to launch in early 2019.

In addition, Acamar has signed an agreement with License Connection to represent Bing in the Benelux region.
With over 40 broadcast partners secured worldwide, Acamar has already started to roll out its long-term multi-channel content strategy. These new partners join the growing success of Bing in Poland, Spain and the UK where the series is available all year round on linear TV, SVOD service and local language YouTube channels. In Poland Canal + airs Bing on MiniMini four times a day on weekdays and twice daily on weekends. In Spain leading children’s free to air channel RTVE Clan airs a daily double bill.
Acamar has secured new broadcast partners in the Nordics, Czech Republic, Russia, South Korea and South East Asia and will be at Licensing Expo in Las Vegas to meet potential licensing agents for representation of Bing in these new markets.
