Jason helps launch pre-school property marking actor's return to children's TV

BLE 2013: Lisle launches Pip with Sir David Jason

Lisle International played host to a special guest at this year’s Brand Licensing Exposition, as renowned British actor, Sir David Jason took the centre stage.

Known for his roles as Del Boy in British sitcom Only Fools and Horses and his voice work as Toad in Wind in The Willows, Jason took part in photo opportunites and interviews about his role in Lisle’s new propery, Pip.

Voicing the character Skipper in the new pre-school animation, the new role sees Jason return to children’s television within his position as non executive director at CHF Entertainment.

Jason was joined by CHF Entertainment’s managing director, Simon Hall as the pair announced the launch of the series, scheduled for broadcast next autumn.

Hall said: “I believe that Pip’s fantastic world of playful friends and fun packed adventures has incredible appeal.

"We are therefore thrilled to be working with esteemed licensing agency, Lisle International which is widely recognised as one of the foremost licensing and merchandising brands in our industry.”

Gayle Tarrant from Lisle International, added: “The day was a great success and it was hugely exciting to have such a prestigious star working alongside us.

"It was the perfect way to launch Pip!, a licence that we believe will take 2014 by storm.”
