Rainbow has kicked off the tenth anniversary celebrations of its popular girls brand Winx Club with a live fashion event held in London.
Marking the start of major celebratory events throughout the coming year, the event followed a cocktail party during MipJunior in Cannes.
The New Year will see the sixth series, mixing 2D and 3D animation, released globally, while the third movie is currently in production.
The anniversary calendar will be supported with a wide-ranging marketing plan with live events, retail promotions and strategic partnerships designed to engage all target markets.
The celebrations will be spearheaded by a dance project designed to highlight the energy, emotion and excitement behind the brand, alongside a web promotion to engage the wide community fan base.
”Winx Club is a brand that has just kept on growing since it first hit screens ten years ago and it now holds a dominant position in the girls’ market thanks to the steady stream of engaging and exciting content we are able to produce," said Iginio Straffi, chairman and CEO of Rainbow Group.
"I am thrilled and delighted to be able to celebrate the success of a brand that has brought fun and joy to millions.”
