BLE 2016: Cooneen eyes licensing expansion in EU

Cooneen By Design is heading to BLE for the first time this year, with plans to increase its European partners in retail and licensing.

Known for its range of nightwear and underwear, Cooneen already has an extensive range of partners on board, including Disney, Lucas, Marvel, Warner Brothers, eOne, BBC, Mattel, Hasbro, Cartoon Network, ITV, Nickelodeon and more.

“For the first time in 16 years of attending, we are hosting our own stand at the show. Although many of the stands are there with the intention of promoting their own brands or brands they represent, we are there to meet potential new retailers and licensors from the UK and Europe to show our capabilities in licensed clothing,” said Mike Coles, director at Cooneen Group.

“The stand will hold our best and most successful designs and we will have our top team there to talk sales, licensing and factory capabilities.

“The company has just celebrated its 50th year in textiles and we are looking forward to discovering and delivering new opportunities at the show, that will maintain the success for the next 50 years.”
