BLE 2019 VIDEO: Anna Knight and Powerstation Studios explore licensing videogames

By the end of 2019, the video gaming industry will hit a value of $152 billion, putting the entertainment platform as among the largest in the world – outpacing even the movie business.

Of that market, merchandise and licensing is playing an increasingly large role in driving incremental sales of gaming IP, whether that through the tried and tested methods of t-shirts and hoodie sales, or, and as we are witnessing today, more niche and specialist partnerships in the collectable, lifestyle, or live experiential sectors.

Such is the power of video gaming within the licensing space today, this year, Brand Licensing Europe is paying special homage to the sector with the curation of its own gaming activation, developed and constructed by Powerstation Studios, called The Arcade.
