Blizzard creates book publishing label

Blizzard Entertainment has launched a new publishing division under the name, Blizzard Publishing.

The label will publish new and reissued titles based on Blizzard properties most notably World of Warcraft.

Confirmed titles coming from the publisher include Warcraft: The Last Guardian, Warcraft: Lord of the Clans, World of Warcraft: Rise of the Horde, Warcraft Legends: Volume One and Warcraft Legends: Volume Two.

As well as novels the publishing arm will release Blizzard Manga titles and a new World of Warcraft Adult Coloring Book.

“Great stories and inspiring artwork have always been at the heart of everything we do,” comments Lydia Bottegoni, senior vice president, story and franchise development at Blizzard Entertainment. “The creation of Blizzard Publishing gives us new opportunities to celebrate the art and stories of our games with Blizzard gamers as well as fantasy and sci-fi fans around the world.”

Upcoming releases will be available in multiple formats including print, audiobook and e-book. Out of print Blizzard book titles will be re-issued directly through ongoing global partnerships.
