Board games, clothing and escape rooms among Bill and Ted’s 30th anniversary celebrations

A new Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure board game will be galloping to shelves (in true Wyld Stallions style) later this year, as part of the ongoing 30th anniversary activity around the cult classic film franchise.

The game is the result of a new partnership between licensing agents Creative Licensing and Warcradle Studios, who also created the special 30th anniversary logo for the brand.

The title – details of which will be revealed in the coming weeks – is just part of a slate of activity surrounding the 30 year old film franchise that also includes a capsule collection of apparel from Bioworld, collectable figures, silk screen prints and lithographs from Incendium, and a Bill and Ted’s themed phone booth from Cubicall.

On top of this, Boyd Escapes is readying for the launch of a Bill and Ted’s themed escape room, in which the world’s most influential people have been trapped by a mad scientist via the phone booth. Players must complete the challenge to save them all, and the world.

This year, Bill and Ted also detailed the release date of the new film, Bill and Ted Face the Music, revisiting the pair in their middle age, still on the mission to fulfil their rock and roll destiny.
