The first ever CG animated cartoon series for the Sonic brand – Sonic Boom – will hit UK screens courtesy of Boomerang this summer.
Co-produced by SEGA of America and OuiDO! Productions, the all-new Sonic Boom will premiere exclusively on Boomerang on Monday, June 1st at 4pm.
The TV series consists of 52 x 11-minute standalone episodes. The CG animated cartoon has already seen a successful launch in the US on Cartoon Network, and has been proving a big hit on Gulli and Canal J in France. Packed full of high-adrenaline action, every episode starts from a small character-driven story and explodes into an epic tale of adventure, saving the world and robot battles.

Sonic Boom is the new branch of the Sonic universe, that debuts a new look for Sonic and friends. The TV series which features the new look Sonic and friends, will be supported with an extensive global licensing programme, which is anchored by new master toy partner TOMY.
