Bottersnikes & Gumbles readies for CBBC premiere this July

The award winning children’s show Bottersnikes & Gumbles is preparing to make its debut on CBBC this month.

The series that brings the popular 1970s children’s book series to the small screen is scheduled to premiere on the channel on July 25th.

Each episode follows the adventures of a gang of Gumbles as they battle the evil Bottersnikes in an abandoned valley of junk.

Bottersnikes & Gumbles – starring the BAFTA winning Miriam Margolves as Weathersnike – has already picked up this year’s Pulcinella Award for Best Kids TV series at the international animation festival Cartoons on the Bay in Venice.

Francesca Lisle-Grimshaw of Lisle International, UK and Ireland, said: “We are excited for the launch on CBBC this month and delighted that we will launch in such a strong time slot.

“We now look forward to progressed conversations with licensees in categories such as toys and seeing the brand come to life.”
