Brands In welcomes two new industry experts to its senior team

Continued growth and a growing demand from its loyal fan base has seen the licensed fashion and apparel business, Brands In, add two senior appointments to its team in the form of experience licensing personalities, Richard Samms and William Durzu.

Samms joins the team as senior designer, while Durzu has been brought on in a new business development role. Both join the company with several years’ experience in the licensing industry and will report directly to MD, Rick Lowe.

Durzu joins Brands In from Global Brands Group and Global Licensing where he held a senior sales role in adult and kids’ fast fashion. His role at Brands In will see him work closely alongside licensing director, Sue Stanley and MD, Rick Lowe, to leverage existing licensor relationships, create new partnerships both with brands and retailers, as well as support on new growth opportunities currently being explored in the sector and internationally.

Meanwhile, Samms has been a senior designer for a number of years and most recently worked in a freelance capacity. Prior to this, he has worked at Blues Clothing and Global Brands Group. His role will be to focus on the company’s strong reputation of delivering a time-efficient service from creative to shop floor that is on-trend.

MD, Lowe said: “In order to meet the demand of our growing customer base and license roster, we welcome Richard and William to the team to help deliver on the many exciting opportunities that are developing for our business.”
