Brands with Influence to develop licensing push for Match of the Day

BBC Sport has appointed Brands with Influence as the licensing agency for Match of the Day.

With over 50 years of heritage, the key sports brand is now being made available for licensing.

“Match of the Day is a unique property that brings together audiences across all ages and we are really excited about the opportunity to develop this key sports brand," said Dom Wheeler from BWI Licensing.

"There are few non team specific sports brands that can boast the loyal audience that watches Match of the Day.”

Brands with Influence is already underway with the first licensee negotiations and expects to see the first products in the market this autumn for the new 2016/17 season.
