Bravado confirms more Emoji-TV deals as Love Island partnership hits screens

More emojis will be making their way to the small screen, Bravado has confirmed, following the brand’s successful appearance on ITV’s Love Island this year.

In a deal brokered by the licensing agent, Emoji is providing ITV with access to a catalogue of 14,000 protected icons with copyright assurances for use in the TV show’s text messaging communications.

The company is also currently offering its icons for use in marketing activities surrounding the BAFTA winning series that has been dubbed by many as ‘the show of the summer.’

The current series – now airing on ITV2 – has achieved the channel’s biggest ratings to date.

Talking to, Alex Mitchell, licensing and partnership manager at Bravado confirmed that it will look to “grow this supply of Emoji in media formats over the coming years.”

“Supplying Emojis to ITV for use in the biggest show of the summer – Love Island – is a great example of Emoji being suitable for any manner of project. Adding Emojis to the show is a great way to connect to the show’s audience in such a simple, fun way.

“We aim to grow this supply of Emoji in media formats over the coming years.”
