Britvic enters the apparel market

Poeticgem is to develop a new t-shirt and nightwear range for adults based on the Britvic soft drinks brands.

Britvic brands include household names such as R White’s Lemonade and Tango.

And the deal – brokered by Britvic’s licensing agency Start Licensing – will see Poeticgem use the imagery of these brands to create its new range.

Elliot Matthews of Poeticgem, said: "This is a fantastic deal and we are very excited about developing this nightwear line.

"When the opportunity came to use Britvic brands we jumped at the chance. It offers us something really fun and innovative to work with, especially as there is nothing else quite like this in the nightwear category at present."

Britvic brands have enjoyed vast success over the years, thanks largely due to innovative advertising campaigns that have delivered slogans such as ‘I’m a secret lemonade drinker’ and ‘You know when you’ve been Tango’d’.
